Once a need for palliative care is established, we accept that this is a difficult time for the Service User and their family. Support at this time can be vital to enable the service user’s needs and wishes are met.
Here at Complete Care we understand that a life- threatening diagnosis can be a frightening and confusing time not only for the patient but also for their family. We have many years of experience in supporting terminally ill patients and their families at this difficult time. At Complete Care we aim to provide top class care in order that our Service Users can experience 'quality of life'.
Our Palliative Care Liaison Officer will be on hand to discuss requirements with the Service User and their family. We will be able to discuss future care planning, holistic assessment and we will also be able to advise as to what other support services may be available. This could take the form of district nurses, spiritual advisors, social workers or specialist nursing teams.
We will discuss physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs and how we can best deliver the required care. We can schedule home visits from our team of experienced and committed care workers throughout the day and we can also offer a night sit service should this be required.
At Complete Care- we care. You can rest assured that we will be there for you to offer any help and support that you and your loved one may need.
