I have always worked in care and began my career as a community care worker. After a short while I was promoted to Care Coordinator, this was a role I thoroughly enjoyed as i could ensure that the people I supported out in the community received the best possible care. I was responsible for managing and leading a team of twenty staff. It was during this time that I achieved my level 4 in Health and Social Care.

After Complete Care won the tender for Kirklees I was part of a team that transferred across to the company in 2011. I was the Kirklees Coordinator for Mirfield and then Denby Dale. Since joining Complete Care in 2011 I have been a finalist in the Care Awards no less than three times and even won the Regional Award for care coordinator in 2015. I loved my role as Coordinator but was attracted to the role of trainer and manual handling facilitator within the company. Complete Care identified my skills as a trainer, which led me to complete a training qualification in manual handling. I am now the sole trainer for Complete Care using my experience and knowledge to train others.

'This year I have been nominated for the Care Trainer Award 2019, I am excited to be part of an amazing team that inspires and values passion'

I joined the Complete Care team in 2016 as Care Coordinator, this was a more senior role to the one I had come from as Communication Officer. I wanted the opportunity to further my knowledge and skills which as a Coordinator for the Kirklees and Wakefield area, this enabled me to do so.

I am committed to delivering a quality, person centred care, my focus is always on how we can improve the service. I ensure my team have high standards of quality care by supporting them out in the community. I work hard to ensure staff and customers needs are met through careful monitoring and supervision.

I understand the importance of continuous learning and development, I share the same values as the company and as a result am currently working towards my level 5 in Health and Social Care.

My passion is helping people and I am fortunate to have a fantastic team to help me provide a great service

I joined the senior team in 2017 as HR & Payroll advisor for the Company. My background is from HR and Accounts, I am highly experienced. driven and passionate about my role to ensure the business runs smoothly. I love all aspects of my role as it is quite varied, I enjoy recruiting new people who share the company's vision, mission & values with the aim to provide a quality service.

As part of the senior team i am often involved in the strategic side of the business, supporting the Registered Manager and Accounts Manager to promote and develop the business.

I am also looking at starting my qualification, CIPD level 5 in Human Recourses Management.

I love the fact that everyone within the company has the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of Complete Care

I love the fact that everyone within the company has the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of Complete Care

I joined the company in 2019 to support the duties of the HR advisor after returning to work from Maternity leave. I’ve always wanted to make a difference and help others, so the job role of HR Admin within Domiciliary Care really stood out for me. From stepping through the front door of Complete Care on the day of my interview I knew it was a company I wanted to work for. I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at ease. It really shone through to me how much Complete Care wanted and continue to make a difference within the community.

I am a key contact in scheduling and assisting with interviews, I absolutely love this part of the role, as I love to meet new people who also want to make a difference within our community. At Complete Care we all really work as a team and pride ourselves on the quality service we provide to our staff and service users.

I am thoroughly passionate about my role within HR admin and I am looking forward to enhancing my knowledge within HR

I am fortunate to have a role which allows me to use my skills and knowledge, I absolutely love what i do

I joined the Complete Care team 2011 as a Community Care Worker in the Denby Dale area. Laura is highly valued and has been a valuable member of the team, her wonderful personality and smile shines through and she is exactly the type of person needed to deliver quality care. In 2018 Laura made the news in Homecarer magazine and featured in the local newspapers when she scooped the award for 'level 3 apprenticeship of the year'. The event took place at the National Coal Mining Museum. The awards recognised and celebrated Laura's exceptional contribution to the workplace.

I joined the Complete Care team in 2014, I have always been passionate about helping others and knew that the role of Community Care Workers was one that would enable me to do that. It was after a short while with Complete Care that I was made a Team Leader. I am focused on ensuring those we provide care to in the local community receive the very best care possible. I understand the importance of quality, person centred care from personal experience. The care workers do a fantastic job under challenging circumstances and without them people would struggle to remain at home without the support and care my team provide.

As a Team Leader my focus was on leading and managing my team to ensure they were fully supported and trained to a high standard. We work closely together as we all play a vital part in the company.

In 2019 I was given the opportunity to take on more responsibility and now my time is shared between the office and the community. I am much more involved in the care packages from start to finish, this gives me a greater insight into what works well and how we can improve our service.
