Complete Care’s fantastic team of care workers have been applauded for taking on this week’s adverse weather to continue delivering support to our customers.

Over the course of 2 days, West Yorkshire was hit hard by snowfall which reached up to 10 centimetres in some areas, and with up to 20 centimetres of snow falling on the highest parts of the region.

Home care workers defied the snow and battled to maintain services as they drove (with difficulty) their cars up and down the steep hills of Denby Dale to the side streets of Wakefield and Mirfield and many walked through blizzards to reach their service user’s.

Yet again, it shows that nothing stops them, whether it’s adverse weather conditions or global pandemics, this amazing team work day and night, and seven days a week to support our customers, no matter what.

Families and staff worked together to make sure that everyone was kept safe in these most treacherous of conditions.

The team also earned the attention of the ITV calendar news who featured their pictures and videos in a report showing the amazing work they do in the harsh winter weather.

Well done to our lovely care worker, Emily who appeared on ITV Calendar.
